Talk:Technology in 4th Grade
From School Computing
3/24/06 Aimee, your page looks great. I like how organized and specific each section is. It makes it easier for someone who enters your page, looking for information on a specific topic of integrating technology into 4th grade to not have to shuffle through all the pages but go directly to what they are looking for. I want to suggest 2 pieces of Math Software that you might want to include if you are familiar with them. They are called Mighty Math Number Heros and Mighty Math Calculating Crew. They are similar to the 2 programs I have listed in my software section but these 2 pieces of software are aimed for the higher grades, 3rd through 6th. - Linda
3/18/2006 Hey Aimee, Great start. I think you may want to add an introduction at the begining and move the standards up to the top of the page. Good Luck! -Greg
3-18-06 Aimee, your page looks like its off to a good start. I would consider using bullets, bold and/or italic print, and including links in your different sections to help make the site a bit more readable and easy for someone to glance for key words that are beneficial to them. - Janelle
3/20/06 Aimee~ You have a lot of really great ways to integrate tech. in 4th grade writing. I was thinking it might be easier for users to read if you bullet the tool you would use, like Word Processor and then give examples of how you would use it. Does that make sense? Allyson
3-25-06 Hi Aimee, I've posted my feedback for you as an audio file: Aimee's Feedback From Demetri. Please be aware it's a fairly large (1.6 Mb) mp3 audio file, so it may take awhile to download, and you need an audio player to listen to it, such as Windows Media Player or QuickTime installed. If you have any problems or questions, please contact me. Thanks, Demetri
