3-23-06 Hi Emilie, great job on tying together all of the various pages and creating consistency among them. I like how you've livened up many of the pages with images. You may want to write out exactly what organization is behind the 21st Century Skills, to give validity to it as a standard. Is ISTE involved? For the robotics page, you might also mention FIRST, who organizes robotics events and competitions. -Tom
3-25-06 Emilie, I really like how your page is organized. It is easier to navigate around with the links to several other pages. The pictures also add a nice touch and help visual learners better understand what your are writing about. The information you have is very sbstantial and your connections to classroom uses make it clear to the reader specific ways to integrate this emerging technology into the classroom. I was particularly focused on the blogging and podcastign areas since these are some emerging technologies I would like to use in my classroom and even used your site to download audacity to record the voices of several of my students (the FAQ was very helpful for this). One suggestion mught be clarifying the introduction to RSS section since I am still a little foggy on what exactly it is (maybe it is just me though). Essentially what I took from it is it is a dumping ground for information from multiple websites. So you have one central location to go to for all your information, but I am not completely sure if that is correct and what the educational benefits are outside of saving time for a teacher. Sometimes with the emerging technologies you need to take even extra time to explain since familarity with them is so limited. I absolutely love your site and am going to try and input images into my wiki like you have in your. --Joe
